Two Madison County men are behind bars after a pocket dial led detectives to a possible narcotics transaction.
Early Friday morning, Madison County dispatch got a couple unusual phone calls. One man had accidentally “pocket dialed” 911 and on the other end of the phone, a dispatcher could overhear people talking about drug activity.
The cell phone pinged near the Circle K on Richmond Road in Berea. There, Berea Police found Greg Collins and arrested him on charges including possession of meth and possession of heroin.
Another individual, Justin Cruse, was also arrested and is facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Both Cruse and Collins are in the Madison County Detention Center.
