PHOENIX, AZ (3TV/CBS5) — A Phoenix woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing a medical transport van. And it was a GPS in the van that led police to their suspect.

Police say 35-year-old Jessica Renee Karandreas faces one charge of unlawful means of transportation.

Police say that on Jan. 12 at around 1 a.m. a MedStar medical transport van was stolen from the area of 24th Street and Thomas Road.

According to the Lexington, Ky., police department, there was a minor tragedy Monday near the corner of Pink Pigeon Parkway and Man o’ War Boulevard.

A delivery truck caught fire — not just any delivery truck, but one emblazoned with the green-and-red logo of the Krispy Kreme doughnut company.

“No words,” joked the department in a statement on Twitter, accompanied by a crying emoji. The tweet included photos of heartbroken officers posed near the charred vehicle.

A 27-year-old man got a ticket in the mail after he was caught on doorbell cam stealing a package from his neighbor’s porch, police said. Though the suspect was known, police were unsuccessful in making direct contact with him.

A Madison man wreaked havoc at his house Sunday night by taking an ax to the family car, TV and other items, after he thought his wife damaged his prized action figures.

 

The man was arrested for domestic related charges of disorderly conduct and damage to property, according to Police Chief Mike Koval who wrote about the incident in his daily blog.

Police: Indiana man arrested after fight with women

An Indiana man was arrested after he allegedly got into scuffle with his girlfriend and her friend while he was driving them home, police said.

The two women alleged to Will County sheriff’s deputies that on Tuesday they were at Jason’s Pub, 1361 Benton St. in Crete, with Justin Dovich, 35, of the 2100 block of 218th Place in Sauk Village, a boyfriend of one of the girls, Kathy Hoffmeyer, spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office, said in an email.

 

Man arrested and released for alleged indecent act, does it again three days later, cops say

A Minnesota man who was arrested in Florida earlier this month for allegedly masturbating in public was bailed out of jail and arrested three days later for allegedly masturbating in another hotel in front of guests, reports said.

Jason Tietz, 47, was arrested on Jan. 9 after he was seen touching himself at Hotel Zamora in St. Pete Beach, Fla., police said. He was bonded out of Pinellas County Jail shortly after his arrest, Tamba Bay’s Fox 13 reported.

10-year-old boy bullied over colostomy bag kills himself: cops

A 10-year-old boy in Kentucky allegedly committed suicide because of the relentless bullying over his colostomy bag, according to reports.

Seven Bridges’ mother said she returned from the grocery store Saturday morning to find the fifth-grader hanged himself at the family’s home in Louisville, news station WHAS reported.

“I saw my son dead,” his mom, Tami Charles, told the news station. “That’s something in my head.”

Charles said Seven struggled with the bullies he encountered on the bus ride to Kerrick Elementary School, where he was taunted because of a bowel condition, news station WDRB reported.
