A California yoga studio is claiming that former NBA star Dennis Rodman and several others, including a former employee, stole merchandise over two separate trips last week.

One of the items among the $3,500 haul: a 400-pound amethyst crystal.

Vibes Yoga Studio owner Ali Shad said he watched the heist unfold on the store’s security footage. He said Rodman, a former employee, and two others worked in coordination to distract an employee and raid the store’s racks.

“It’s clear as daylight,” Shad told the Los Angeles Times.

Rodman told TMZ that the clothing was actually a gift and nothing was stolen. The hoops star known as “The Worm” told KCBS-TV Channel 2 that he was told, “Dennis, get anything you want.”

“I said, ‘OK, great,’ ” Rodman said.

The employee on duty at the time said the four of them told her that the $2,500 crystal belonged to them and they were there to retrieve it.

“They gave me false information,” she said.Dennis Rodman accused of stealing 400-pound amethyst crystal in yoga studio heist

As Rodman asked the employee to show him around, one of the women stuffed clothes into her purse and a man tried to load the crystal onto a hand-truck but it shattered. The gang gathered up the pieces but left behind shards and about $5,000 in damages to the floor, the owner said.

Shad contacted police but the group had already departed by the time they arrived.

The next day Rodman and one of the women returned and surprised a different employee. Rodman allegedly pulled the “show me around” routine again as the woman put clothes in her purse.

The two smelled of alcohol, the store said.

The Newport Beach Police Department is investigating but no arrests have been made.
